Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
EONIC ("we," "us," or "our") operates eonicnewyork.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or opting in to our communications, you agree to this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact information you provide: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
- Order information: items purchased, order totals, payment confirmation (we do not store full card numbers; payments are processed by Shopify/Stripe).
- Marketing preferences: your opt-in status for email and SMS, the source of the opt-in, and the date/time of consent.
- Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and referring URLs collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Program
Our SMS program is operated in compliance with the A2P 10DLC requirements of U.S. carriers and the CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices.
- Program description. We collect mobile phone numbers so we can send marketing and transactional SMS messages, including early-access alerts, drop reminders, product launches, promotions, abandoned-cart reminders, shipping and order updates, and customer-service replies.
- How you opt in. You opt in by entering your mobile number into a EONIC sign-up form (on our website, at checkout, via a keyword reply, or at an in-person event) and submitting it. We record the date, time, IP address, and the consent language you agreed to.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You should expect roughly 4–10 messages per month, but the number may be higher during launches, sales, or order activity.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan. EONIC does not charge for messages, but your carrier may.
- Opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further marketing texts will be sent to that number.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@eonicnewyork.com.
- Supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability of the program on any specific carrier is not guaranteed.
- No sharing of phone numbers or consent. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, opt-in data, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are only shared with the service providers required to deliver our messages (for example, our SMS platform and the underlying carriers), and only for that purpose.
- Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old (and have the legal authority of the mobile account holder) to opt in.
4. How We Use Information
- To process and fulfill orders, and to provide customer service.
- To send marketing communications (email and SMS) you have opted in to.
- To send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notices.
- To prevent fraud and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
5. How We Share Information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business — for example, our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers, email platform, SMS platform (and the mobile carriers needed to deliver messages), and analytics providers. These providers are contractually limited to using the information to provide services to us. We do not sell personal information, and we never share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers for third-party marketing.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your cart, measure performance, and (where you have agreed) deliver relevant advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS consent records are retained for at least the period required by applicable law and carrier requirements.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Email. Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- SMS. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing text messages at any time.
- Access, correction, deletion. Email support@eonicnewyork.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law.
- California, Virginia, and other state privacy rights. Residents of certain U.S. states have additional rights regarding their personal information; contact us at the email above to exercise them.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes to the SMS program will be communicated in advance to subscribers where required.
